Well Met
October 2026

Hello, and welcome to our October 2026 issue. Yes, it’s spooky season already, so this month our prompt-if-you-want was, aptly, Somethin’ Spooky! Shriek! There’s quite a thread of frightening writing this time, amidst many other interesting themes. And we can even begin by presenting our readers with a little treat! We were honoured to be contacted in late September by Jeremy Desmon, who thoughtfully brought to our attention his wonderful website rhymehamster.com (do take a look if, like us, you love writing in rhyme!).

Our thanks to all the poets listed below, including new arrivals Edison Jennings and Barbara Loots. Welcome! Please click on any name to access the poet’s page.
